Google’s Time Machine

You read it right…dubbed “Recorded Future”, Google Ventures is investing in the future of, well, the future software:

Recorded Future allows financial analysts, intelligence analysts, and predictors to organize and aggregate future observations with ease.

Recorded Future organizes information about the future and makes it available to our users. Recorded Future’s customers are some of the top government agencies and trading firms in the world.

The software crawls the internet for references to future events, adds them to a database, and uses top secret algorithms to analyze its results.  Thought not much now, imagine what it will be in the future…spooky.
