iPhone/iPod Touch App Gift

Apple has added a feature where you can purchase an app for a friend, loved one or even someone you hate. During the check out process in iTunes, one of the options of purchase is “as a gift”:

This seems to be a good idea, and I’m shocked it has taken all this time for Apple to come up with this idea?  I wonder where is the “trade an app” option?  A website like that would be shut down so fast by Apple, it doesn’t seem worth the headache…
