Although the new unit has the same price tag ($300) as the previous Xbox 360, its much smaller, quieter, and shinier!

Per Giz, some of the features in this new release include:

• Touch sensitive on/off and eject buttons (like the PS3)
• “Much quieter”
• 250GB internal hard drive, which is still swappable.
• A custom Kinect port (not a standard USB port—it’s a USB port that can feed more power)
• There are five USB ports now, with three in the back and two in the front
• AV cable included, an HDMI and optical audio
• Different power supply—it’s still big but nearly weightless
• External Xbox 360 hard drives and memory units are NOT compatible with the new Xbox
• Internal components that are changed: two small fans changed into one large fan for quieter operation, 45nm integrated CPU and GPU

  • 79% said they had pirated a PC game
  • 66% said they were the proud owner of at lease one dead Xbox 360
  • 44% said their Wii was gathering dust

It looks as if the GPU and CPU have been combined into a single chip.  Apparently this is not just a new motherboard, but a complete overhaul of the entire Xbox 360.  Only time will tell if this

Sorry Xbox 360 fans, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 is still missing Fox and Sony (obviously).  Although most movie studios will more than likely show up on the 360, Sony’s HD appearance might be a while if ever!
