Frequently Asked Questions

Following are some frequently asked questions. If you have further questions or concerns please refer to our policies or contact us.

How does the PCQuikFix work?

Simply fill out the form to the right. Once filled out and submitted, a slip will be generated with all of your information that will need to be printed and enclosed with your shipped unit.

Once we receive your unit, we will run a diagnostic and email you a quote (unless the problem and cost is listed on the main page of your unit). Once you accept the quote, we will do the repairs and notify you upon completion for payment. Repaired units are shipped back to the customers within 24 hours of payment.

How do I know which repair I need and how much it will cost?

Most repairs and costs are outlined on the main page of each unit. If your issue is not listed and once we receive your unit, we will run a FREE diagnostic and email or call you with a quote for repairs. You are under no obligation to accept the quote for repairs.

What will need to be shipped with my unit?

We will need the core system or unit only. We will not need controllers, cords, accessories or games for the repair process. Please DO NOT ship your unit in the original system box as it will not be returned.

What if my unit is "unrepairable"?

If one of our technicians has deemed your unit "unrepairable", you have the option to have your unit recycled (per your request) or returned to you. You will not be charged for the labor, however, you will be responsible for the bench fee.

What is the average turn around time?

Once we have your unit in house, the average turn around time will depend on how fast the customer gives approval for the repair. Once we have approval, the repair only takes 1-2 business days. Shipping times will vary based on location, carrier, etc.

Will my saved data be deleted?

Unless the repair is hard drive related, your data will be safe.
